A Blessing for Fathers (Husbands)

Lord, thank you for the gift of my father/husband.

Thank you for his love and care for me (and for our family),

for his sacrifices for me (us), and for all he does for me (and for our family).

I ask that you bless him abundantly.

May You continue to bless him all of his days

and bless and guide him in all his endeavors.

May You grant him strength of mind and body,

peace of heart and mind,

and a faith that is strong and unyielding.

Please help him to grow in strength of body, mind, and spirit,

and to grow in wisdom and grace as the years go by.

May you protect and watch over him always and keep him safe from harm.

May he grow more in love with You each day that passes

and may he enter Your eternal Kingdom when his time on earth is complete.
