Me and My House Catholic Parenting Program Review
As a Catholic parent of young kids, do you struggle with raising them with Catholic values in the world we are a part of? It can be challenging for sure. There is help! Me and My House created a Catholic Parenting Program to help parents of toddlers to 10 years olds. They asked me to review their program and share it with you. As Catholic parents, help to raise our kids well and in the Catholic faith is appreciated!
What is Me and My House?
Evango’s Me and My House provides Catholic resources for parents. Through their blog posts, parenting challenges, and parenting program, Catholic speaker Patrick Sullivan and the team work to help Catholic parents live out their vocation with joy and confidence. Patrick uses his training in theology and education as well as his experience as a father of nine to help parents on their journey raising their children well.
How you can benefit from Me and My House Catholic Parenting Program
With a variety of parenting resources available, why is Me and My House Catholic Parenting Program one to look into? (Use the code THANKSGIVING (in all caps) to get $15 off your purchase.)
One thing that impressed me is that it has received the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from the Catholic Church. Having these designations means that all the material in the program has been looked at and evaluated by the Church. The Nihil Obstat means it is free from doctrinal or moral error and the Imprimatur means it has been approved for printing. A program with the stamp of approval from the Church is a great find.
The objective of the parenting program is to provide “a practical game plan for Catholic parents who are struggling with all the things that parents struggle with.” As parents, we face a variety of struggles, and the program’s goal is to help us tackle them successfully. We all want what is best for our kids. Sometimes we need a little help and guidance in being the parents we want to be for our children so we can raise them well and be good examples for them.
The Me and My House Catholic Parenting Program is like having a parenting coach with you giving you practical guidance and step by step instructions to follow to help you and your spouse be the best parents you can be, raise your kids well, and enjoy your family life. Details about Me and My House Catholic Parenting Program
The parenting program contains over five hours of video lessons broken up into four different modules: Parenting in God’s Plan, Habits of Parenting, Do’s and Don’ts of Parenting, and Parenting them in the Faith. Each module has between 7 and 15 different lessons covering specific topics related to the overall module topic as well as simple action steps parents can take to implement what is covered in each lesson.
The program is nicely laid out and each lesson is concise and to the point, with things to think about and action steps to take.
