My Good Shepherd
Dear Jesus, You are my Good Shepherd; I shall want for nothing. You provide all I need.
You watch out for and care for me, calling me by name, and leading me on right paths.
May I fear no evil, knowing You are right beside me.
May I draw courage from Your presence.
You lead me on right paths, Lord, to Heaven with You.
With You beside me, may I live a life such that I shall dwell in Your house for all eternity.
Jesus, my Good Shepherd, thank you for caring for me all the days of my life.
May I always hear and heed Your voice and follow You.
Amen.

My Good Shepherd is inspired by Psalm 23. Knowing Jesus is the Good Shepherd, we thank Him for looking out for us and ask Him to continue to do so in our lifetime so we may be with Him in Heaven one day.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd. In Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepherd, a song by David, he explains how Jesus looks after us with tender care, taking care of all of our needs. He is our loving protector. This can be read as a prayer, wherein we recognize Jesus’ great love for us.
